NAPPA LEATHER CARE GUIDE

Natural Nappa is a full grain aniline leather without any application of protection. This finish is obtained from the most beautiful calf, cow, lamb, buffalo, goat and kid leather hides. It’s the most fragile type of leather. Caution should be taken to use a delicate product. Because of this leather’s high porosity, it’s strongly recommended regular protection against water and grease stains, with the help of SUPER INVULNER.

STEP 1 - PREPARATION
Remove the laces and insert the CEDAR SHOETREE.

STEP 2 - BRUSHING
First remove any surface dirt with a HORSE HAIR BRUSH. Be gentle as this leather is very delicate. Use a brush that has never been used to shine another type of leather, in order to avoid staining the leather with any wax residue.

STEP 3 – NAPPA CREAM
Always test on a hidden area of leather first.
Wrap the CHAMOIS COTTON CLOTH on two fingers and apply the NAPPA CREAM.

Start by applying the cream to the sides of the shoes in a “back-and-forth” movement, pressing lightly and paying particular attention to the folds. Leave to dry a few minutes.

Why should the Nappa cream be used?

This solvent-free formula has the distinction of being extremely mild and will preserve the appearance of the finest and most fragile leathers. As a result, the leather is deeply nourished and protected without affecting its original appearance.

STEP 4 – FINAL TOUCH
Buff the dry surface with the CHAMOIS COTTON CLOTH to enhance the shine and lift off any excess cream.
Ensure that the part of cloth that you are going to use is perfectly clean in order to avoid staining the fragile Nappa skin.

STEP 5 – WATERPROOFING
Apply the SUPER INVULNER to protect the shoes from getting stained or damaged. Not only protects against water, but also snow, dirt or stains. Always remember to protect your leather shoes.

Test of efficiency:
Apply the SUPER INVULNER to any leather goods. Allow it to dry, then pour some water on the surface and see that the water does not penetrate. Try the same on untreated leather, and you’ll see that the leather becomes wet almost immediately.

SUEDE AND NUBUCK LEATHERS CARE GUIDE

STEP 1 - PREPARATION
Remove the laces and insert the CEDAR SHOETREE.

STEP 2 - BRUSHING
First remove any surface dirt with the SUEDE BRUSH.
Gentle rub the leather, paying particular attention to the folds and edges of the sole.

STEP 3 – CREPE ERASER (not always necessary)
If your shoes are generally clean and something is just attached to the surface, you may gently use the CREPE ERASER only on the dirty marks.

STEP 4 – RECOLOURING AND HYDRATION
Remove the CEDAR SHOETREE.
Cover an outside area with newspaper and also fill your shoes with it, to protect the lining to be stained.
Hold at approximately 25cm from the shoe and evenly spray the surface with SUEDE RENOVATOR.
Leave to dry for 10 minutes. Insert the CEDAR SHOETREE.
Why should SUEDE RENOVATOR be used?

It cleans, refreshens the colour, nourishes with natural almond and waterproofs. The exclusive natural vegetable oil formula will be able to restore the original softness of the suede and nubuck.

STEP 5 – CREPE BRUSH

Brush gently with the NATURAL CREPE BRUSH to help restore the skin’s natural feel.
Always use a “back-and-forth” motion and the suede will be as good as new. The natural crepe has the unique characteristic of being naturally sticky, allowing small particles to be lifted from the suede white restoring the nap.

STEP 6 – WATERPROOFING
Apply the SUPER INVULNER to protect the shoes from getting stained or damaged.
Not only protects against water, but also snow, dirt or stains. Always remember to protect your leather shoes.

Test of efficiency:
Apply the SUPER INVULNER to any leather goods. Allow it to dry, then pour some water on the surface and see that the water does not penetrate. Try the same on untreated leather, and you’ll see that the leather becomes wet almost immediately.
